The systems developed and manufactured in Püttlingen basically cover the two fields of assembly and testing. Starting with the pre-assembly of complex mechanical assemblies such as axles, engines and passing on to the most complicated assembly step, the so-called “marriage”, when the entire power train, the chassis and the car body are precisely fit and bolted together. Before the finished product leaves the assembly line, it is put to the acid test: all functions from the power train, brakes, electronics, chassis to the headlights are carefully checked and, if necessary, adjusted.
